As you may well know, in light of the international Coronavirus outbreak, Insight Academy Of Australia (IAOA) has been emphasizing the importance of good hygiene on campus and our monthly excursion in March has been cancelled due to this cautious reason.
Our school will start transitioning towards online classes in a bid to minimize the spread of COVID-19. From 20/03/2020, students will be offered Zoom Online Learning classes to suit your preferences and concerns, as well as comply with the government’s latest restriction:
From now on you can study online in the comfort and safety of your own home. You will use “Zoom: Video Conferencing” App to interact and study with your teacher.
Note: Classes attendance (minimum of 20 hours of scheduled class contact hours per week) will still be applied for ELICOS students and this will be monitored strictly.
We hope you understand that these are unique and challenging circumstances for us all. I want to assure you that IAOA staff is working hard to ensure that you receive an excellent online teaching and learning experience. We are confident our teaching staff and infrastructure can support your studies as you would expect from us.
Please know that we respect and appreciate that learning from home may be potentially complex and challenging. However, we will do this together. If/When you make your decision of going with the online study mode, you will receive an Instructional Booklet/ Kit that includes all information to get you started. This Booklet/ Kit will also provide a good back-up for where technology is not accessible or when you need a break from you Ipads/ laptops/ PCs too! The Student Online Learning Handbook will be made available by the end of next week.
We will be here to support you, and to help you connect to school and learning, but we are also realistic and are mindful to not over complicate, overwhelm or ask too much at such a complex time. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions. In the meantime, we are all going about our operation as usual (with extra hand sanitiser and had washing!)
