Graduates of an Advanced Diploma will have specialised and integrated technical and theoretical knowledge with depth within one or more fields of work and learning.

Education Pathways
Graduates at this level will have broad knowledge and skills for paraprofessional/highly skilled work and/or further learning. Students who complete this course can expect to gain work as a Senior Administrator or Senior Manager within a range of industry areas. Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into a range of higher education qualifications in business or management.

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification or any of the units of competency contained within it.
Purpose
This qualification reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a senior administrative role who are seeking to further develop expertise as a leader and manager in their chosen field. The qualification will equip individuals with significant theoretical business skills and knowledge and help them to consolidate and build pathways to further educational or employment opportunities at a more senior level.

Entry Requirements
This course is available to international students who are able to provide evidence that they:
- Have completed year 12 or equivalent
- Are over the age of 18
- Have at least three years of experience in a senior role OR have a diploma level qualification in Business, Marketing or Leadership and Management
- Meet the English proficiency requirements of this course:
▪ evidence of an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old) OR
▪ have successfully completed the General English course with Insight Academy of Australia (Upper Intermediate Level 12 weeks) OR
▪ be able to provide any of the following evidence of English Language competence:
▪ that they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country.
▪ that they have successfully completed the Oxford Online Placement Test with a minimum CEFR score of B2.
▪ that within two years of their application date, they have successfully completed in Australia a foundation course or a senior secondary certificate of education or a substantial part of a Certificate IV or higher level qualification, from the Australian Qualifications Framework. - Please note : Insight Academy of Australia will also accept equivalent test results from the following specified English language tests:
▪ Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT
▪ Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) PBT
▪ Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic
▪ Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)
